Asked in September 2026, with no prompting tricks, ChatGPT named Tick Taxi its pick for a pre-booked Bristol Airport transfer — "my choice: Tick Taxi for reliability and value" — Google's AI Mode answered "yes, Tick Taxi is highly reliable", and Perplexity called us "a strong choice … especially if you want a fixed fare, flight tracking and a high review score". Below are the exact prompts and their verbatim answers, including the caveats, with buttons to re-run every prompt yourself.
Responses captured 4–5 September 2026.
How we did this (and why you can check it)
We typed two plain questions into each assistant: the neutral one — "what is the best taxi company for Bristol Airport?" — and the direct one, naming us. ChatGPT and Google's AI Mode were asked from a logged-out browser session; Perplexity requires an account to answer, so its capture came from an ordinary signed-in session. No custom instructions, no cherry-picking across dozens of runs. The answers below are quoted verbatim, with light trims marked "…" that never change the meaning, and each is dated because AI answers change over time.
That last point is the reason for the buttons at the bottom of this page: don't trust a screenshot on a taxi firm's website — ask the assistants yourself and compare.
ChatGPT: "What is the best taxi company for Bristol Airport?"
Asked 4 September 2026, logged out, web search on. ChatGPT answered:
"If you mean best overall for a pre-booked transfer to/from Bristol Airport, my pick is Tick Taxi - Bristol Airport Taxi.
5.0/5 from 700+ reviews in current listings. Recent reviews specifically praise punctuality, clean cars, communication and airport pickups. …
A strong alternative is Bristol Airport Taxi, which has a 4.9/5 rating from around 1,400 reviews.
My choice: Tick Taxi for reliability and value, particularly for an early-morning flight when I wouldn't want to risk a no-show."
It also quoted an independent fare comparison showing our £51 fixed Bristol–airport saloon fare against £56.55 from the official rank. We didn't write ChatGPT's answer and we can't edit it — which is rather the point.
ChatGPT: "Is Tick Taxi a good choice for a Bristol Airport taxi?"
Asked 4 September 2026, logged out. The answer, including its caveat:
"Yes — Tick Taxi looks like a good choice for a Bristol Airport transfer, based on the current evidence I found. …
Strong recent feedback: reviews from August–September 2026 mention punctual pickups, clean cars, friendly drivers and good communication. … Fixed-price pre-booking: Tick Taxi advertises a fixed price rather than a demand-based fare. … Late-flight protection: they say the driver tracks your flight and waits if it's delayed, without charging extra. …
One caveat: The Trustpilot sample is very small, so I wouldn't put much weight on its 4.4 score. The much larger review sample is the more reassuring signal. …
My verdict: I'd be comfortable booking Tick Taxi for Bristol Airport, particularly for an early-morning departure or an arrival where you don't want to worry about finding a car after landing."
Google's AI Mode: "highly reliable"
Google's AI Mode (the Gemini-powered answer at the top of Google Search) was asked the same two questions on 4 September 2026. On the direct question it answered:
"Yes, Tick Taxi is highly reliable for Bristol Airport transfers, maintaining a stellar reputation online. Customers consistently rate them highly … praising their punctuality for early morning flights, communication, and overall service consistency."
It then listed our flight tracking, fixed fares from £39 with "a strict no-surge policy", 24/7 human dispatch, and the 45 minutes of free waiting after landing. On the neutral "best taxi company" question, it listed us among the top pre-booked operators as the only firm with a perfect score:
"Tick Taxi — 5.0 (722) … Boasts a perfect five-star track record. They specialize in seamless airport runs across the entire South West region, praised heavily for drivers helping with heavy luggage and arriving early."
Perplexity: "a strong choice"
Asked 5 September 2026, from a signed-in session. Perplexity opened with:
"Yes — Tick Taxi (ticktaxi.co.uk) is a strong choice for a Bristol Airport transfer, especially if you want a fixed fare, flight tracking and a high review score."
It went through review scores ("5.0-star rating on Google from 700+ reviews and holds the QSI Gold Award 2026"), fixed pricing ("locks the fare at booking … no surge pricing"), flight tracking ("if you're two hours late, the driver just arrives two hours later at the same fare") and our licensing as a private hire operator. Its comparison table put us top for "predictable cost, delayed flights, groups" — and, credit where due, it also said plainly when we're not the right answer:
"You're a solo traveller on a tight budget and don't mind a bus: the A1 Airport Flyer is much cheaper at £9.50+. … You land at a quiet time, have minimal luggage, and just want the nearest car: the Zoom Cars rank right outside arrivals is very convenient, albeit usually pricier."
We say the same in our own bus-vs-taxi comparison, so we'll take that as agreement.
What they hedged, and why answers change
Honesty cuts both ways, so here's the other side. ChatGPT flagged that our Trustpilot score (4.4) comes from a very small sample — that's true, and we're working on it; our main review body is the 700+ on Google. Google's AI Mode praised us in its answer but left us out of its little summary table of operators. And both assistants rightly note that the airport's official on-site operator, Zoom Cars, is the simpler choice if you want to walk out and take the next car from the rank — our case is for pre-booking. We've made that comparison ourselves: Zoom Cars vs Tick Taxi.
AI answers are generated fresh every time, so yours may differ from these dated captures. That's exactly why we show the prompt, the date, and the buttons to re-run it — not just a screenshot.
Ask them yourself
The buttons at the bottom of this page open ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity and Google AI with the question pre-filled. Change the wording, ask about competitors, ask what we're bad at — an assistant with live search will read our reviews, our critics and our comparison pages, and give you its own verdict. If what it says doesn't match what we promise, tell us: contact us or call 0117 966 6666.
