The honest version
If you're on your own with hand luggage and you're not in a rush, take the Flyer. It's £8, it runs all night, and it stops at Bedminster, Temple Meads and the bus station. We'd rather tell you that upfront than have you pay for a car you didn't need.
The taxi case gets strong fast though. Two people with suitcases and the Flyer's £16 plus the walk from the bus station with your bags. Four people and the bus costs nearly as much as we do, without the door-to-door bit. And if you're landing at 11:45pm with kids asleep on your shoulder, the maths stops being the point.
What "fixed price" actually means
The fare you see when you book is what you pay. Late flight, roadworks on the A38, Friday traffic through Bedminster, none of that changes it. We track your flight and the driver adjusts to when you actually land, with the first 45 minutes of waiting free on airport pickups.
One thing that catches people out
If someone's collecting you by car, the Drop Off & Pick Up car park charges £8.50 for up to 10 minutes, then £10.50 up to 20. There's no free stopping at the kerb at Bristol Airport. Worth knowing before you ask a friend or family member for a lift that ends up costing them.
